In this role, I assisted Occupational Therapists with setting up the session rooms, worked one-on-one with children with various conditions (e.g., ASD, Down Syndrome), and facilitated parts of the sessions. I also took the initiative to develop new therapeutic prompts to fit the clients’ needs (i.e. games, social stories) and prepare a literature review for a workshop. During Fieldwork 1 Placement, I volunteered as a student facilitator to facilitate sessions with OT clinicians. I contacted the OT clinician prior to the sessions to offer them support with the online platform navigation. I also provided my group of student peers with information about the OT clinician to encourage them to prepare questions for the session. Lastly, I ensured that the session runs smoothly and within the set time. This experience allowed me to support the fieldwork organizers, my student peers in learning, and the OT clinicians’ positive experience by acting as the contact person. Thank You Letter
